Teaching & Style

I encourage students to become aware of their inner landscape by moving mindfully with the breath. My teaching is based on the Hatha principles and will often include Qigong and Traditional Chinese Medicine meridian theory.  By exploring movement and breath with a sense of curiosity, I hope that at the end of each class you will have learnt something new and fascinating about your unique body and deepened your experience of yoga.

  • Initially yoga was a way of taking care of my body as an athlete. Noticing the positive effect it had on my body and mind I started to become more curious about the what, why and how. This led me to take a Yoga Foundation course with the Inner Yoga Trust in 2010. A desire to share what I was learning followed and in 2014 I took a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training course with Simon Low of the Yoga Academy. In 2023 I completed 500hrs with Yoga Medicine to become a Yoga Medicine Therapeutic Specialist, bridging the gap between healthcare and yoga. I am currently working towards my 1000hr qualification.

  • Everyone!
    You do not have to be flexible or a certain age to practice yoga. The stiffer you are the quicker you will notice the changes in your body. At any age there is always something to work on to enhance health and wellbeing. As we get older yoga can be a great way to support the activities we love, enabling us to do them for longer.

    Anybody can practice yoga. The only thing you need to be able to do is breathe in and breathe out!

  • At the Shala

    At the Shala

    The custom-built outdoor yoga shala has been placed on a magical corner of the Finca with shade from the cork oaks and views across the treetops. The wooden floor has been designed to provide a practical base yet blend in with the settings.

  • Online Classes

    Online Classes

    Monday Wake up Flow 9-10 AM CET
    Awaken the body and settle the mind ready for the week ahead with a flowing movement and breathworrk practice. Ideal for those with some yoga experience.

    Wednesday Body Connective 10-11 AM CET
    A mindful practice exploring connections throughout the body.
    All levels welcome. An ideal practice for beginners and experienced yogis alike.

    Friday Realign and Reset 6-7 PM CET
    A Yin practice with fewer poses and longer holds to release tightness and constriction in the body. This calming practice is a wonderful tool for down regulating the nervous system, settling a busy mind and over time can have a positive effect on high blood pressure.

  • 1:1s and 2:1s

    1:1s and 2:1s

    In person or online. At the Shala or in our Indoor Yoga and Meditation Room.

    Perhaps you are recovering from an injury, have a chronic condition or have something specific you would like help with. Therapeutic yoga on a 1:1 level can provide support and help with rehabilitation.

  • 5 Element + Qigong Bundle

    A package of 5 x I hour classes based on the 5 Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Wood, Water, Metal and Fire are all movement practices and Earth is a relaxing calming Yin practice. The Qigong practice is 20 mins so ideal to help you get going in the morning or whenever you want to refresh your energy.

    The bundle costs £30 and is yours to use as many times as you like until the end of December 2024.
